At this point in time, we are searching for an Associate Support Engineer L1 to help our clients realise their business goals.
Our vision is to be world class leaders in the provision and management of specialist IT infrastructure solutions for our clients. We rely on our great team of expert Associate Support Engineers L1 to assist in providing Information Technology services to Dimension Data clients ensuring that their infrastructure and systems remain operational.
As an Associate Support Engineer L1 at Dimension Data, you will be responsible for assisting with ensuring the continuous availability of IT services by proactively identifying, investigating and resolving technical incidents and problems and to restore service to clients by managing incidents to resolution.
What we will expect you to do:
- We will rely on you to meet all service level agreement conditions.
- You will use your experience in support engineering and focus on first line support for standard and low complexity incidents.
- We will need you to assist with ensuring that the assigned infrastructure at the client site is configured, installed, tested and operational.
- You will need to assist in analysing, assigning and escalating the support calls received at the service desk.
